Jennings Mechanical is a fast-growing mechanical contracting company known for delivering high-quality HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical services throughout the Lowcountry. We are currently hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to support our service department in Charleston, SC.

Position Overview:

The Service Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting daily operations by scheduling and dispatching HVAC technicians and plumbers, coordinating service calls, managing customer communication, and ensuring efficient service delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in service dispatch, office coordination, or mechanical service administration who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC and plumbing service technicians to residential and commercial service calls

• Act as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and internal staff

• Manage daily service schedules, update dispatch boards, and track technician availability

• Maintain and organize work orders, service requests, and job documentation

• Coordinate the ordering and tracking of parts, tools, and supplies

• Provide administrative support to the Service Manager and service team

• Ensure prompt, professional, and courteous communication with clients and team members

• Use field service management software to log updates, schedule appointments, and track progress

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatching, office administration, or customer service

• Experience in the mechanical contracting, HVAC, or plumbing industry is strongly preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with dispatch software (e.g., ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, Housecall Pro) is a plus

• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
